They will not win -- 07/07/05

After the 9-11 attacks against the U.S., many in Europe (I believe it was even a headline in Le Monde) declared "We're all Americans now!"

Today the same kind of filthy jihadist scum that slaughtered innocent people in New York and Washington, attacked London, killing at least 40 people and injuring almost 400 more.

Tony Blair said "We are united in our resolve to confront and defeat this terrorism. This is not an attack on one nation, but on all nations and on civilized people everywhere."

Perhaps today we should all say "We're all Brits now."

I'm sure that in a few hours -- if not already -- the usual anti-freedom crowd (MoveOn, Answer, Michael Moore, etc., etc., ad nauseam) will start their usual perverted chant about how it's really the fault of the victims. To hell with them.

Londoners are strong. They withstood the Nazi bombings in World War II. They survived the IRA terrorists. They will overcome this latest assault on their lives and their freedoms.

Those of us in the civilized world have to remember 9-11 and now July 7th as well and set aside petty partisan political divisions and unite with renewed resolve to eradicate this jihadist cancer.
