I just don't understand where the time goes... Here we were, just getting ready for Thanksgiving and putting up the Christmas Tree and taking down the Christmas tree and it's the New Year and now it's January 18th and I'm exhausted... It's been a busy week around here... Nancy and our niece Lauren (URI student) flew down to North Carolina to see Nancy's brother Matt (and his wife and baby) before he goes back to Iraq for another tour of duty. They flew back Monday afternoon (no school due to Martin Luther King Day) -- then Nancy had to immediately start working on her lessons for the week and I've been busy with work and the usual chores and tasks and errands and such... That blasted cold -- sore throat -- miserable bug finally left me last week and I've been trying to get back into working out -- which I finally got around to doing on Thursday and Saturday and Sunday and Wednesday. What I've really got to do is get into working out every day (or, at least six days a week). I will, I will...
Yes, a new day is dawning and I will work out and I will lose weight and I will get into shape. (Hmmm, the dawn pictured was today's dawn... but I didn't work out today... just plain ran out of time... and now it is almost ten o'clock at night and I am out of energy as well as out of time.) I have been working on getting my old Geocities stuff over to my jimsjournal.com domain. I have everything from the beginning (September 26, 1996) through mid-September of 2000 moved and the internal links and graphics fixed. (Most of the rest of 2000 has been moved, but the internal links still point back to Geocities.) I kept putting it off and putting it off until I finally decided I just had to sit down and get it done. (And I didn't realize just how time-consuming a task it would be!) I bought a copy of TurboTax today. Yes, I'll have to find some time to work on that soon. I did have a whole bunch of things to talk about here but my brain is shutting down so I think I'm going to go to bed now...
