Sunday, July 30, 2007, 3:11 a.m. at NYU Medical Center, New York City.
Weight: 6 pounds, 8 ounces
Length: 19 inches
Mother and baby doing well.
I can't tell you his name because Adam and Leah were still trying to decide.[His name is Milo.]
Nancy and I rushed off Sunday morning to catch a train to New York. It was raining there (much to my surprise because after Adam called I had dashed to this computer to find the Amtrak scheduld but I didn't think to check the weather) So, instead of walking from Penn Station to the hospital the way we did four years ago, we hailed a taxi. |

Lots of pictures were taken -- I took almost two dozen of Nancy holding
him.
We got to see new "big brother" Sam for just a couple of minutes.
And then back to Penn Station and a train back to Rhode Island. We got
home a little before eleven but were both so wired that neither of us could
get to sleep until past two. |
