This shows our front yard on the left side of our driveway as of about
twenty minutes past eleven on Saturday morning. It was sunny day and a
warm front had moved in. Temperatures were already in the fifties and by
mid-afternoon the thermometer would reach 63 ° (17 C °) and it
would stay mild overnight...
The result was that twenty-four and a half hours later, this is what the
same area looked like. It is still mild, although not as warm as Saturday,
and although things will be cooling off, we aren't supposed to reach freezing
temperatures until Monday night (and there is supposed to be rain all day
Monday). Thus, this snow probably will not be around much longer.
Less than two weeks until the vernal equinox!
