Mild weather (even when it is raining) with temps in the forties when it rains and moving up into the fifties on days we have blue skies and sunshine. (Today was a bit of sun sandwiched between showers and it almost reached fifty.) The series of rain storms we have been having, along with the mild weather, melted away the last of our snow several days ago.
And outside, the spring bulbs continue to push up through the soil... and the earliest ones are already in blossom. And this week's Sunday Brunch: 1) What state were you born in? New York 2) What state do you currently live in? Rhode Island 3) How many states have you been in? (and yes, driving through counts!) I think I've been in 22 states (gee, not even half). [There's a map of showing states I've visited in this entry.]Let's see... New York, Vermont, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio, Illinois, Missouri, Minnesota, Texas, Utah, Nevada, California, and Hawaii. 4) If you had your choice regardless of cost, which of the 50 states would you choose to live in? I like it where I am, here in Rhode Island. (I must admit that Hawaii is absolutely beautiful, perhaps the most beautiful place I've been, but for all of my grumbling about this past winter, I do like a four season climate.) 5) Which of the 50 states would you rather die than live in? Well, that's rather an extreme way of putting it... If I could rephrase that to "what states would I rather not live in," I'd try to avoid the deep south... although I probably wouldn't want to live in North Dakota or Idaho either. I was pleased that I got in a five mile run on Wednesday and then did it again today.
